M
ont du Lac is Superior/Duluth’s premier destination for disc golf. We host several disc golf events, including two opens a year. We offer our guests three well maintained disc golf courses with five course play options that wind through rolling, wooded terrain. Our courses are highly rated on both DG Course Review and The Disc Golf Scene. All holes are equipped with Discraft Chainstar baskets that feature multiple pin locations. Whether you are looking to improve your game, take on a highly technical course, or stretch your arm, Mont du Lac Resort has what you’re looking for.
Open dawn till dusk, players can take on any of our courses without reservation. Newcomers to the sport can rent or buy discs at our onsite Northern Lights Disc Golf Pro Shop. Ace Run and White Cedar Course (Forest Course) are open year-round and league play is offered Wednesday and Thursday nights during the same time frame. Due to the rough terrain of our courses, good, closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.

Eagle’s Peak
Eagle’s Peak, also known as the Mountain Course, is Mont du Lac’s intermediate course. It has both an 18 and a 22-hole course layout. The 22-hole layout features two holes with a pond hazard in play. This course is well-balanced and plays up and down the mountain. Golfers are provided with a challenging mix of open, elevated greens and tight wooded holes. Some holes offer alternate pin positions with one concrete tee pad location. Designed for a variety of shots on multiple signature holes, this is a course you won’t soon forget. Eagle’s Peak also links to the White Cedar course to create hybrid layouts.

White Cedar
White Cedar, also known as the Forest Course, is Mont du Lac’s advanced 18-hole course and is rated as one of the “Top Private Courses” in the nation. This course offers numerous par 4’s and 5’s in an extensive layout that plays longer than Eagle’s Peak. White Cedar has one tee pad location with alternative pins and as many as three in some locations. Much of this course takes players through a heavily wooded cedar forest with extreme elevation changes. Natural springs run throughout the course creating water hazards. The back nine is the most extreme part of the course. With its rolling hills and technical play, endurance is needed to conquer this part of the course. Designed to fully embrace the natural terrain, White Cedar is a whole new level of extreme disc golf. If you’re looking to elevate your game, you can’t pass this course up.
